Cor mundum crea in me, sanctum ignis...
Cor mundum crea in me, sanctum ignis...
Cor mundum crea in me, sanctum ignis...
Cor mundum crea in me, sanctum ignis...
A blaze of divine collusion and disclosure with Death,
Thy elation does emerge, this foul heart endures its ghost.
Hope is the invention of fools and of ignorance, the harbinger of pyorrhoea.
Laughter cracks the fear and continues to ensue ecstasy,
pain brings me closer to death.
The current of refracting thought harrowing matter and ether.
The transcendental mind - a chasm of discordant perpetuity!
It is the negation of God that acts as a catalyst for truth.
Perdition is an absolution time could never of foretold.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
The Belgian band explore heavy psych, tribal rhythms, free-jazz freakouts, meditative drone and the vast, shadowy spaces in between. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 22, 2020

I got this slab of greatness when I purchased a cd from the label, just love how much care and attention that they put into the packaging, artwork! Morbid Evils, this is amazing!Crushingly heavy, atmospheric, relentless,I think the comparisons to Thou and Primitive Man are spot on! Thanks to Transcending Obscurity for this! Michael Carter
